This evening EuroConcert took place at the Dr. Hochs Konservatorium in Frankfurt. Eoin and Ruxandra from the Press Team kept the audience amused in between the fantastic musical performances by delegates and officials from across Europe with their witty Franter! They even managed to impress certain members of the audience enough to receive an invitation to the HSS Christmas Party in Berlin in December!
Well done to all the performers (including Maarja from our Press Team) and of course to Eoin and Ruxandra for presenting!

The Committee on Industry Research and Energy had a tough resolution to solve; deciding upon and outlining an ideal framework for scientific research and innovation within Europe. Their discussion has covered many aspects of the problem such as financial limitations, education schemes and scientific and governmental bodies. Despite this they are extremely hard working… and they know how to party hard too! It’s break time just now and they are currently dancing round the Committee room rapping to Czech hip hop at the top of their voices… Keep up the good work ITRE and I am confident you will be successful during GA!

Yesterday’s Teambuilding was held outdoors in a local park and everyone came back a little bit sunburned but smiling. EuroVillage, as always, lived up to expectations and the delegates really went to a great effort to showcase all their national culinary delights. One of the highlights was definitely the French table that made their own crepes, trés bien! I also was a big fan of the Belgian waffles, and Irish smoked salmon, though not together obviously. We also saw the first video contribution from the Press-team last night, which went down really well and is up on the blog for you guys to enjoy aswell. The journos put in a huge effort to that video and we’re delighted that everyone seemed to enjoy it. Last night also saw the world premiere of the official session song written and performed by the very talented Orga Rian Stipp and the video which showcased the Orgas…unique dancing skills. The first of the sessions parties followed and left us in no doubt that everyone is going to have a great time in Frankfurt!
The first issue of FRANTICS – The Frankfurt Antics (and yes, we love the title) was published yesterday aswell and is available online for you to enjoy. Any comments or questions you have on it are more than welcome and should be sent to frankfurtpressroom@gmail.com aswell as any articles that anyone would like to contribute to the newspaper. We would love to hear what you have to say!
Keep checking back to see more updates, articles and comments!
All the best,
